Scrap Club Layouts

Here are the layouts I made for last weekend's Scrap Club using the Magnifique Workshop-On-The-Go.    I actually created the "Sweet..." layout at the SDV that I went to last month.  The instructions to this layout come with the WOTG kit.  The scan/stitch isn't perfect, but you get the idea, I'm sure.

The second layout I created a little over a week ago.  I LOVE how it turned out.  The technique for some of the stamped images (from "Circles of Love" CTMH MyAcrylix stamp set) were inspired by the Autumn/Winter Idea Book.  It's difficult to tell, but the letters in the title have subtle flourishes.  The flourishes on the title are actually part of the peacock.  I inked "Family" with Chocolate ink and then pressed the peacock stamp (uninked) onto the inked letters, stamped off the chocolate ink (that was picked up) to clean it real quick, and pressed the peacock on the other side of the title.  I found (when I helped one of my customers create the title at the workshop) that pressing harder (be careful that it doesn't slip) makes the pattern more pronounced.

I have never scrapped any regular photos of my childhood (I have scrapped two portraits), and thought this was a good a time as any.  I really enjoyed reminiscing when I scrapped these photos.
