Yeah! It's spring break!

Aaahhhh....Spring Break....how I love spring break.  The timing always seems to be perfect.  It comes just when I feel like I'm going to "break".  :)  Anyway, I've been rather busy and haven't had a lot of extra time to blog.  But with a little break here, you'll probably see a few more posts from me this week, including the April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  Then there will probably be another dry spell, as the school year comes to a close.  I keep telling my husband he needs to get another job or two, so I can stay home and craft and blog all day.  For some odd reason, he's not jumping at the offer.  LOL

Later this week, I'll be going to Navarre, Florida to attend Leadershare with Tina Sutton.  I'm very excited.  Not only do I look forward to learning new things, but I especially look forward to getting away for a few days with my family.  We very rarely take family vacations, due to the expense and logistics of finding care for three animals.  Although it will be a short trip, my kids are just excited to go to a hotel...to them that's a treat. :)

I have a few projects that I'll post over the next couple of days, but the first group of projects I'd like to share are the cards from the 25 for $25 Crazy for Cards Workshop that I taught in February.  Everyone made five each of five different cards.  I really love how the cards turned out and everyone seemed to have a great time.  For some reason, I never did share them here on my blog.  So here goes...
This card was inspired by Card #6 on page 24 of the Wishes How-to book.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Fanfare Level 2 Paper Packet
This card is based on the Celebration 6 x 6 Card Workshop sketch on page 24 of the Wishes How-to Book.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Inks:  Chocolate
Embellishments: Copper Bitty Brad, Crochet Flower (NLA)
Other items:  2" Scallop Punch, Sponge, Mono Adhesive, Glue Dots, Micro-tip Scissors, Waterbrush
This card is inspired by the incredibly talented Vicki Wizniuk and her gorgeous Thank You card that you can see here.
Adding Bitty sprakles in the center of the flowers adds just the right amount of bling.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Magnifique Level 2 Paper Packet
Stamps:  Bohemian Alphabet, Friendship (Damask - February SOTM)
Inks:  Lagoon, Pacifica
I honestly don't remember where this idea came from.   I know the overstamping technique (used for the balloon) was inspired from an Art n Soul video.
The white space annoyed me, so I simply pierced some holes to add some dimension and fill up some of that empty space.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper:  Lucky Level 2 Paper Packet
This card was inspired by the Card #1 Sketch in the Wishes How-to Book.
I just love the stamps that build things...like this flower.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Paper: Mayberry Level 2 Paper Packet
Embellishments:  Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon (NLA)
Hope you have enjoyed the cards.  You may have noticed that most of the cards were inspired by the Wishes Card Confidence Program (How-to Book).
If you'd like your own copy, click here or call/email me.

Until next time....
