June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the CTMH June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
June's Stamp of the Month is called.....
****Jubilation****

The blog hop makes a circle so if you are starting here just continue until you make your way back and you will have made it through them all.  If you have already started and are coming from Pamela O'Connor's blog, "Reflections of my aRt & sOul", then you are on the right track. (Wasn't her box darling?!")

Do you ever sit down to make a card and wonder, "Where do I begin?"  Well, here's a suggestion...
Consider using one of Close To My Heart's How-to Books. I used Wishes to create the three cards for this month's Stamp of the Month blog hop.
I used the pattern on page 30 called "Merryj-Go-Round" for this "i love u" card.  I didn't have any alphabet stamps small enough for my sentiment, so I decided to do it ol' school...by hand. :)
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Stamps Used: Jubilation

For my wedding style card, I used the Simple Strip pattern on page 37 of the Wishes How-to book.  However, I decided to make it a little larger.  Instead of making it a 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" card, I enlarged it slightly to a 4 3/4" x 3" card.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Stamps Used: Jubilation, Eclectic Edges, For Every Occasion (inside sentiment)
Inks: Chocolate, Grey Flannel
Embellishments: Canvas Badge Buttons,  Opaque Mocha Gems, Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon (Ret.)
I thought it would be fun to show how different the card can look simply changing the paper pattern/colors and embellishments.  This is the same pattern as the wedding card above.
The little stars below the red cardstock strip is the bottom half of the little "celebrate" stamp in the SOTM set.  Kinda cool, huh?
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Inks: Pacifica, Cranberry, Honey
Embellishments: Natural Hemp, Circle Tag (Office Supply)
Other: Micro-tip scissors, Tombow Mono Adhesive

Remember, if you love what you've seen so far along your SOTM Blog Hop journey, and you want your own "Jubilation" stamp set at a discount or for FREE, be sure to contact your Close To My Heart Independent Consultant.  If you don't already have a consultant, I'd love to be yours.  You can find details on the "Stamp of the Month" here on my blog, or by clicking on the "Stamp of the Month" tab at the top of the page or by clicking on the "Shop with Me" link near the top right.  Of course, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

If you have time, take a moment or two to check out the rest of my blog.  If you enjoy your visit, then please consider "Following Me" and/or leaving a comment (we all love comments...the nice ones anyway), then be sure to continue along on the hop by heading over to  Teresa Scriven's blog, "Creating with Inky Paw" and check out her FAB-U-LOUS creation.

If for some reason you get lost along the way, you can always find a list of all this month's CTMH SOTM Blog Hop participants on Helen's Onulak's blog.

Happy hopping!

  6. Great cards. Like the idea of using the round metal tags from the office supply. Wish we still carried those!
