Hard for me to believe....

Fellow CTMH consultant, Amy McVey, left a lovely comment on one of my posts the other day and shared with me that she had selected my blog to receive a Liebster Blog Award.  I really don't know what to say, other than I am humbled.  I am humbled that others find inspiration by what I create.  Occasionally my creations are original, but more often than not, they are born out of inspiration from the creations of others.  I don't think I do anything particularly special.  I've only been able to call myself creative in the last couple of years, though I'm still uncomfortable when I say it.  It's just always been so hard to see it in myself, largely due to the fact that I am very self-critical.  Very seldom do I feel that what I do is good enough, whether it's mothering, teaching, creating, my spirituality, etc.  (Not a good trait, I know.) So when people share with me their love of my creations and how they are inspired, it's hard for me to believe fully comprehend it...and even harder to know what to say other than "Thank you!"  Your kind words does make me happy and even better, helps me to accept my own abilities a little more every day. :)
For those of you unfamiliar with the Liebster Blog Award the goal of the award is to spotlight those bloggers with less than 200 followers and hopefully help everyone involved to increase their following.  The rules are fairly simple...

  1. Thank the giver.
  2. Link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
  3. Select five bloggers (with less than 200 followers).
  4. Leave a comment on their blog letting them know they were selected.
  5. Copy and paste the award on your blog
  6. Have fun!
Now for my five blogs to select....that's going to take some thinking...and a little time.  So I'll come back with my five, probably tomorrow.

Until next time...

  1. You definitely deserve this award. I always love ALL of your beautiful work! You have great talent!

  2. I always enjoy and inspired by your work!

  3. Tamytha,
You definitely deserve this award. I always love seeing your artwork. I totally understand what you are saying when you feel you aren't good enough. Your words could have been my own. It was hard to read. I know that sounds weird, but when others are as hard on themselves as I am on myself it makes me hurt.
Enjoy your award. I hope to see you teaching at convention.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It means a lot to me. :) Thank you!
