A Sneak Peak CAS Card

When I was enjoying my first peak at the new Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book, one of the stamp sets that caught my eye was a sentiment set called "Scrapbook Statements - Women".  I know.  Sentiment stamps are probably not the most exciting of stamp sets, but you would probably agree that they are necessary tool to complete a card...would you not?  At any rate, the phrases were cute and catchy and when I read one of the phrases, I knew instantly what I wanted to do with it....combine it with another new stamp set that I had seen a few pages back and here's the CAS (clean and simple) card I came up with.

Supplies Used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted:

Paper: White Daisy CS, Hollyhock CS
Stamps: Scrapbook Sentiments - Women, Sightseer

Inks: Indian Corn Blue, Hollyhock, Black

Embellishments: Bitty Sparkles

Other: 3D Foam Tape, Trimmer (Fiskars), Micro-tip scissors, Bone Folder, ATG Adhesive (Scotch)

I found this great little card challenge blog called Card Makin Mamas.  (Isn't that a great name?)  Anyway, their challenges run for two weeks and this go-round is to create a clean and simple card, so I'm going to enter my card into the challenge.  Why don't you give it a try too?
