Diverse Background

Well, I'm feeling a smidge better today....and I mean a smidge.  But it definitely feels good to get out of bed for awhile.  After checking some of my "go-to" sites, I discovered one of my favorite things...a new "Clearly the Best" videos from Close To My Heart.  It's actually great timing, as the first two cards in the video use a stamp set that I was planning to highlight...Diverse Backgrounds.  Background stamps are one of my favorite kinds of stamps, so I'm never pleased to see them retire.  But like I said, CTMH retires old stuff to make room for new stuff. (hint, hint) ;)

Before I show the video, here are some projects where I've used the Diverse Background set.  Here is the original post.

To create some additional interest to plain cardstock, I used one of the stamps on the strip of grey cardstock on the fry box and another one of the stamps on the flowers of two different cards.  All of these projects were for a Cards, Etc. class and the original post can be found here.

I used the alphabet background stamp on the grey wool photo mat in this layout.  Again, it just adds some interest to plain cardstock.  The post about this layout can be found here.

If you'd like to own this stamp set or any others, head on over to my website.  And remember, there's a special going on right now.  Make a $35 purchase and get the "Whooo's Your Valentine" Kit.  Learn more about that offer here.

Until next time...

  1. I love this set too! When I first bought it, I thought that I would use the letter and dot one. I have used the flower and splatter more! (I am not even sure if I inked up the other 2-yet!)

  2. I'd better grab this set before it retires! Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to leave a comment. It means a lot to me. :) Thank you!
