I used Dream Pop papers which will be available on May 1st for only $10 with a $35 purchase. (See the cool resist pattern chevron paper in the background and the zip strips on the inside of the card? They're from the Dream Pop pack, too.)
I also used my Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut each of the envelopes (pg. 35) at 1/2".
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Papers: White Daisy CS, Whisper CS, Slate CS, Dream Pop
Embellishments: Neutral Baker's Twine
Other: Cricut Artiste, Sponge Dauber, Micro-tip Scissors, Paper Trimmer, 3D Foam Tape, Mini Glue Dots, Scoring Board (Martha Stewart), ATG Adhesive (Scotch)
- Use mostly CTMH products.
- Incorporate the current challenge. In this case, envelopes and/or a tuck.
- Link your project back to Heart 2 Heart Challenges from your blog post or online gallery. If you are linking from a blog, you must link directly to the actual post, not your entire blog.
- You also need to mention Heart 2 Heart in your blog post. (Please don't make us guess.)
- Finally, please, please, please, we ask that you consider turning off word verification, as it does make it easier (and less time consuming) for the design team to leave comments, as well as other visitors to your blog. ;)
Don't have any CTMH products? That's an easy fix! Simply contact your local Close To My Heart consultant (or go here to find one near you) or you can place an order by going to my website. If you'd like an Idea Book of your own, you can either email me (if you're local) or simply use the Paypal button in the side bar.
(Note: The last few weeks have been insane, and this past week has been no exception and I completely forgot to post the winner for my blog candy. I promise, I will be posting that on the 30th. So if you entered, I'm so sorry and I hope you'll forgive me.)
Until next time...

ReplyDeleteLOVE all the little envelopes :0)
ReplyDeleteSaw your card on the art board....amazing as usual, and I had to come over and post another comment.
ReplyDeleteThis is so clever! I LOVE the twist on the usual banners or pennants hanging off the baker's twine.
ReplyDeleteThis card is a perfect example of what separates the beginners from the professionals. YOU, my friend, are a true and gifted professional and I thank you for creating and sharing cards like this one. I appreciate you! :-) -B
ReplyDeleteYou're very kind. :)
Deleteso pretty and colorful.. how did you make the little envelopes? is that a die or some kind of template?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment. :)
DeleteI used the Artiste Cricut cartridge, exclusive to Close To My Heart. I cut the envelopes on page 35 at 1/2". I then lightly inked the edges using a sponge dauber and glued the edges down (but not the flap). Finally, I folded the flap over the baker's twine and secured the flap with a mini glue dot.
I really liked your card with the envelopes. I made my own but liked yours better!! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the little envelopes, too cute!
